WHAT IS SHOW, TELL, HIRE?

Digital Capital Week will have thousands of people participating in numerous events - developers, designers, online strategists, social media mavens and more. Whether you're looking to hire or scouting for a job, you don't want to miss DCWEEK's Show, Tell, HIRE!  This is not your ordinary Job Fair. 

Show, Tell, HIRE! is an interactive event which will include a traditional table setup area, an MC’d portion where companies and job seekers will stand up and pitch themselves to the audience and each other, and a cocktail hour for more casual conversations and follow-ups. You've got the spotlight - use it well!

DETAILS

Location: 900 Massachusetts Ave, NW (in the United Methodist Church)

Time:  

4:00 - 6:00pm - Paid, hiring groups can staff a table and talk to people throughout the day

6:00 - 7:15 - MC'd Show, Tell, Hire! session

7:15 - 8:30pm ET - Cocktail hour (location tbd in Chinatown)

COME PREPARED

Companies & Orgs  This is your opportunity to show prospective employees what you're all about. What interesting projects do you work on? What is your workplace culture like? You've got 5-10 minutes to show candidates why they would want to work for you.

Independents  You're looking for a gig - what makes you stand out from the pack? This is your chance to show prospective companies and organizations why they should hire you. Got a great portfolio? Amazing past projects? Mad skills? Use your time in the limelight to get them hooked. 

Others  Maybe you're looking but don't want everyone to know.. maybe you're just shy. Even if you don't want to set foot on stage, come watch the show and mingle with others at the cocktail party.
